    Consecutive even numbers are represented like this

    even numbers are represented like this 2x=even

    consecutive even numbers are 2 apart so

    the numbers are 2x, 2x+2, 2x+4

    so

    2x+2x+2+2x+4=162

    add like terms

    6x+6=162

    subtract 6 from both sdies

    156=6x

    divide both sdies by 6

    26=x

    the first even number=2x so

    26 ties 2=52

    second number=2x+2=52+2=54

    third number=2x+4=52+4=56

    the numbers are 52,54,56
