Larry has $20 to spend at the store. He plans to purchase five items that cost $5.79, $7.63, $3.46, $2.99, and $3.65. Larry estimated his total cost to make sure he has enough money for his purchases. Is his estimate accurate? Explain why or why not. $5 + $7 + $3 + $2 + $3 = $20

    Larry did not round correctly. He used front-end estimation, but he did not round up when appropriate. His estimate will be lower than the amount of money he needs.
