    From left side it will increase

    and it also increases on the right

    The second choice is correct

    One end increases and one end decreases because log2=0.3 and if you multiply that by the leading coefficient, 4, you will get 1.2. Because the new leading coefficient, 1.2, is positive, one end goes up and another end goes down.
