Charles Lindbergh made a first solo airplane flight from New York to Paris. His flight covered about 3610 miles in 33.5 hours.

a.) find the unit rate in miles per hour

b.) find the unit rate in hours per mile

c.) which is a better description of Lindbergh's rate about 2 miles per minute or about 2 mph? Explain your reasoning.

    A) 107.7mph This is solved by dividing the distance by the time to see how many miles are covered over that time. 3610 divided by 33.5 = 107.7 (1st decimal place)

    b) 0.009 This is done by doing the opposite. 33.6 divided by 3610

    c) 2mpm because 2mph would mean he only covered 67 miles.
