Corey needs 24 boards that are 47 1/5 inches long. How many feet of boards should he buy? Explain.

    47 1/5 = ((47*5) + 1) / 5 = 236/5

    Corey needs 24 such boards, so he needs

    24 * 236/5 inches of boards = 5664/5 inches = (5664/5) / 12 feet of boards

    = 472/5 feet of boards = 94 2/5 feet of boards
