Why is transmittance generally considered a more accurate measurement than absorbance

    The ratio of the intensity of the transmitted light (I) to the intensity if the incident light (Io) is called transmittance (T). IN my opinion, transmittance is considered as the more accurate one since intensity can be measure d directly. Hope this answers the question.
