Jason ate 2/12 of a pizza Kara ate 4/12 of the same pizza how much more of the pizza did Kara eat than Jason?

What type of comparison is shown in the question above?

A) Multiplication comparison

B) Addictive comparison

    You take the the amount of pizza Kara ate and subtract the amount Jason ate in order to find the difference. Since there is already a common denominator you can subtract the numerators instantly:

    4/12 - 2/12 = 2/12; or we can simplify this to 1/6

    "Addictive" comparison? I think you meant additive comparison although we used subtraction.
