A car dealership lowered all of its car prices by 15%. Given the above information, what was the original price of a car now priced at £9500?

    The original price would be 9500 + (0.15*9500) = 10925

    So it must be 85% of the original price.

    £9,500 = 0.85 P

    Divide each side by 0.85:
