Tim earns $150 a week plus $15.50 for each desk he assembles. write an inequality to represent how many desks he needs to assemble to make $400 in one week.

    equation: 150 + 15.50x > = 400

    solution:

    150 + 15.50x >=400

    15.50x = 250

    x = 250/15.50 = 16.129

    he needs to assemble 17 desks

    15.50*17 = 263.50 + 150 = $413.50
