Caleb wants to kayak. Kayak rentals cost $14.50 for a half a hour. If Caleb rents a kayak for one hour and forty five minutes how much will it cost him?

    He only wants it for 1 hour and 45 mins. That being said 1/2 a hour is 14.50 you now times that by which gives you 43.50Then you need to take 14. 50 and divide it by two to get the extra 15 mins which is 7.25. Then you would add 43.50 plus 7.25 equals 50.75 for an one hour and 45 mins
