If the sale price for a pair of shoes is $72 and the discount was 64% what was the original price? I got $112.50 just need to double check

    Change the percent to a decimal. 64% = 0.64 Multiply that by 72 0.64 * 72 = 46.08 Now, add this to 72. 72 + 46.08 = 118.08. So, I got $118.08 as the original price.
