The length of a rectangle is four times its width. if the perimeter of the rectangle is 60cm, what is the area?

    Let, width = x

    length = 4x

    perimeter = 2 (4x+x) = 60

    10x = 60

    x = 6

    so, 4x = 24

    Area would be: 24*6 = 144 cm²
