What does it mean for data to be an outlier? How does an outlier appear on a graph

    An "outlier" in data is usually a piece of data that seems much out of the ordinary compared to other data, like a set having 2,3,1,2, and then 100. 100 would be the outlier. On a graph, it would either look much higher or much lower.
