Tia paid a total of $10.66 for 2 boxes of cereal and a bottle of milk. Each box of cereal cost the same amount. The bottle of milk cost $2.88. How much did 1 box of cereal cost?

a. Divide the total cost by 2. Add the cost of the milk.

b. Multiply the total cost by 2. Subtract the cost of the milk.

    D. cause you gotta isolate your variables (the cereal boxes) then get rid of the coefficent (2)
