Eric has two identical number cubes. The faces of each cube are numbered 1-6. Erice will roll both of the number cube at the same time. What is the probability that both of the number cubes show facing up will be a multiple of 3?

    1/9, as there are 2 multiples of three per a dice cube. (2/6) ^2 is equal to 1/9.
