Isaac brought three packages of nuts. He bought one package of peanuts that weighed 3.07 pounds. He also brought two packages of pecans that weighed 1.46 pounds and 1.5 pounds. Did the peanut or the pecans weigh more? How much more?

    The one package of peanuts weigh more than both of the packages of pecans. (Work: 3.07-2.96 = 0.11 pounds.) The package of peanuts weigh 0.11 pounds more than the 2 packages of pecans.

    The peanuts weigh more because in all the pecans only weigh 2.96 lbs and that is less than 3.07
