When answering you want to remember that a^2+b^2=c^2 where the hypotenuse is c. 3.2x3.2=10.24 and 5.7x5.7=32.49. You add 10.24 to 32.49 and get 42.73. The square root of that is 6.5 so your final answer is 6.5.

    Use the Pythagorean Theorem: a^2 + b^2 = c^2, where a and b are the legs and c is the hypotenuse. Therefore, (3.2) ^2 + (5.7) ^2 = c^2

So, 42.73 = c^2. Now, take the square root. C (the hypotenuse) = 6.5 cm
