Thomas is training for a race by running on a circular path. He knows that it is 0.75 mile

from the tree in the center of the circular path to the path. How long is the path?

    The tree to the edge of the path acts as a radius. use the formula to find a circles perimeter to find the length of the path, which is 2r (pi). 2r=1.5, so multiple that by pi. if pi is simplified to 3.14, the circumference of the circle/length of the path would be 4.71 miles.
