Which statement is true about the solution to the set of equations?

    I think there are no solutions - firstly, you can't add two numbers and get one solution, and add the same two numbers up again and get a different solution!

    also, if you plot the two lines on a graph they never intersect, showing there are no values of x or y that satisfy both equations.
