    5x-2=8x+6 then you add 6 to - 2 which gives you this: 5x-8=8x. then you subtract 5x from 8x which gives you this: - 8=8x then you dived - 8 by 8 which gives you - 1. so x is equal to - 1 so you fill in your x for angle OP: 8*-1=-8+6=-2
