    total bill would be X=6.00 + 0.08m

    where m = minutes

    X = total bill

    so 11.52 = 6.00+0.08m

    subtract 6 from each side

    5.52 = 0.08m

    now divide both sides by 0.08

    5.52/0.08 = 69

    he was billed for 69 minutes.
