2. Kim is x years old. Jordan is 7 years older than Kim. Four times Jordan's age is equal to 200.

(a) Write an equation that could be used to solve for Kim's age, x.

(b) How old is Kim?

(c) How old is Jordan?

    Kim is X

    Jordan = x+7

    So J x 4=200

    This means 4 (x+7) = 200

    x=43

    43+7=50

    50 x 4=200

    so Kim is 43 and Jordan is 50.
