A trapezoid with a height of 8 feet and one basw measuring 11 feet has an area of 112 squate feet find the length of yhe other base

    A=h (b1+b2) / 2

    2A/h=b1+b2

    b2 = (2A/h) - b1 we are given A=112, h=8, and b1=11 so

    b2 = (2*112) / 8-11

    b2=17 ft

    So the other base is 17ft.
