If Ben saves $5 a week in hopes of saving up to $300 he will have to save his money for 60 weeks and to find this out you divide the amount of money he needs $300 by $5 how much he is saving ...

    300/5=60

So it will take him 60 weeks to reach his goal of $300.

But if Ben saves $10 a week he will have to save his money for 30 weeks because he is saving twice as much money and will reach his goal in twice the time if he just saves $5 a week. to find this out you would do the same problem as before ...

    300/10=30

So if Ben saves $10 a week he will get his bike in 30 weeks
