X² - 5x + 6 = 0 (R: 2, 3)

    Are you suppose to factor? If so start by finding the factors of 6 which are 1,6.

    6-1 will equal the middle number 5.

    (X-1) (x+6)

    Then set them both up to 0

    X-1=0 add 1 to both sides x=1

    X+6=0 subtract 6 to both sides x=-6
