    y = 15 hour - 3 hours/day x days

    y = 15 - 3x

    y-intercept = 15 - 3 (0) = 15 which is the amount of volunteer hours she must complete at day 0.

    0 = 15 - 3x

    3x = 15

    x = 5 (Number of days she would have to volunteer)

    Equation: y = 15 - 3x
