A square pool has an area of 100 square meters what is the perimeter of the pool in meters

    40 meters. Area=lw. For a square, l=w. So Area = l^2 (or l*l). Since Area=l^2, l=square root of area. The square root of 100 sq meters is 10 meters. One side of the square is 10 meters. A square has 4 sides. 10*4=40
