    (x-2) (x-2) = Area of square poster

    (x) (x) = Area of square sign

    A=Area of square sign

    B=Area of square poster

    A-B=16

    x^2 - (x-2) (x-2) = 16

    x^2 - (x^2-4x+4) = 16

    x^2-x^2+4x-4x=16

    0=16
