What is the absolute value of - 16? explain

    The absolute value of a number is how far away it is from 0. So basically all you do is take away the negative sign if there is one, if there isn't then you don't do anything with the number. so in your case, the absolute value of - 16 is just simply 16

    16 becuase - 16 is 16 numbers backwords from zero and 16 is 16 numbers forwards form zero
