    This is the concept of algebra, to get the total number of dollars wyatt has we proceed as follows:

    Total amount of dollar bills will be given by:

    Amount = (2x-1) + 5 (4x+2)

    opening the parenthesis we get

    Amount=2x-1+20x+10

    putting like terms together we get:

    Amount=2x+20x-1+10

    =22x+9

    thus the total amount of money collected by Wyatt is (22x+9)
