    5 nickels and 10 dimes

    Step-by-step explanation:

    d = dimes n=nickels

    d+n=15 125=5n+10d

    d=15-n 125-5n=10d

    Substitute

    125-5n=10 (15-n)

    125-5n=150-10n

    125+5n=150

    5n=25

    n=5

    5 nickels leaving 10 dimes which if you were to solve it out you get the right amount of money
