    Pythagorean Triples are 3 whole numbers such that a^2 + b^2 = c^2

    The biggest number must be the 'c' because it is across from the 90 degree angle and therefore the longest side.

    6^2 + 8^2?=? 10^2

    36 + 64?=? 100

    100 = 100

    This is true so 6,8,10 is a Pythagorean triple.

    5^2 + 12^2?=? 13^2

    25 + 144?=? 169

    169 = 169

    This is true so 5,12,13 is a Pythagorean triple.
