Answer : Total amount collected in dues on the second day of the month = $ 102.2

    Explanation:

    Since we have given that

Total number of members = 15

Amount payable by each member = $14.60

Total amount payable by 15 members = 15*14.60=$219

    If on the first day,

Number of members paid their dues = 8

    Amount paid = 8*14.60=$ 116.8

Remaining amount payable on second day = 219-116.8=$ 102.2

So, total amount collected in dues on the second day of the month = $ 102.2
