A 14 foot ladder is being used to get to the top of 12 foot tall wall at what angle of elevation must the ladder be positioned in order to reach the top of the wall

    Using a^2+b^2=c^2 it would be a^2+12^2=14^2

    a^2+144=196

    a^2=340

    then square rooted would be a=18.439
