Sue chooses a dress to wear when she goes out with her parents, but she can wear it only if her parents approve. The probability that Sue selects a black dress is 40%. The probability that Sue's parents approve when she chooses a black dress is 30%. What is the probability that Sue chooses a black dress and her parents approve?

    40% = 0.4

    30 = 0.3

    0.3 x 0.4 = 0.12

    0.12 = 12%
