    Many people would tell you not to do this, but I don't see the harm. Feed this into desmos on the net. I've done that for you. Notice that everything above minus 2 is white or unshaded. The dotted red line is the boundary between what is covered and what is not. y = - 2 is not really part of the graph. Remember y must be less than - 2. So - 2.000003 is a member of the graph, but - 2 is not part of the graph.
