Ms. mathematics invited 12 students from one of her classes to meet at the mall for a math shopping spree activity on Saturday. only 2/3 of those invited were able to attend. how many students participated in the activity on Saturday?

    Okay, so if there was 12 in total, and only 2/3 went ... 12:3=4, there was 2/3 so, 4*2=8. 8 students participated in the activity on Saturday.
