    Width = w

    length = (3w-8)

    2w+2 (3w-8) = 96

    2w + 6w - 16 = 96

    8w = 112

    8w/8 = 112/8

    w = 14

    width = 14 feet

    length = 34 feet

    so the dimensions are 14x34 feet
