    the equation that represents the cost is a lineal and it is, as you can see, it is a function with positive slope, it means that as the pounds are heavier, the shipping cost will be higher, the shipping cost is from three dollars onwards, as you can see in the graph, as there are no negative weights, the values of x are taken to from zero onwards
