A teacher asks a student to find 5/4 of a number. Instead, the student finds 4/5 of the number. Her answer is 36 less than the correct answer.

What is the correct answer?

    5x/4 - 4x/5 = 36

    25x/20 - 16x/20 = 36

    9x/20 = 36

    9x = 720

    X = 80
