The ratio of adults to children is 16 to 10. If there are 40 adults, how many children are there? Complete the ratio table to find the number of children.

    This means that for every 16 adults, there would be 10 children.

    If we divide 40 by 16, and multiply it by 10, we get the number of children there would be for 40 adults.

    40/16=2.5

    2.5*10=25

    25 kids.
