How do I find the area of a trapezoid?

    To find the area you do base a + base b times height and divide by 2 and you have the area

    To work out the area of a trapezoid or a trapezium you follow this formula

    1/2 (a+b) height

    a = one of the parallel sides

    b = the other parallel side
