    Given : 13-4x=1-x

    Solution:

    -4x+x=1-13 (transfer - x to right side and change the sign from - to +, the number 13 also when we transfer to the

    left side you must change the sign from + to -, then add of the the same sign the different sign

    minus the bigger number will carry the sign)

    -3x=-12

    -3x/-3 = - 12/-3 (in order to get the x you divide the same number and sign both sides)

    X = 4 answer
