Find the volume of a cylinder that has a radius of 5 centimeters and a height of 3 centimeters. round the answer to the nearest tenth of a cubic centimeter. (use 3.14 for pi.)

    The formula for the volume of a cylinder is area of the base times the height.

    To find the area of the base you must multiply pi times 5 squared (3.14*25=78.5)

    Then you must multiply that times the height (78.5*3), which equals 235.5 cubic centimeters
