If a number is added to the numerator of 34and twice as much is added to the denominator, the result is 47. find the number.

    34+x / (2x) = 47

    When you cross multiply, it will give you this

    34+x=94x

    Put the X on the other side, deduct it from 94.

    Divide 34 by 94, giving you an answer rounded up to 0.367
