Solve the system of equations

3x-3y=-6 and

6x-3y=-33 by combining the equations.

    Multiply the first equation by - 1 to make the - 3y positive, so you can cancel it out with the - 3y.

    -3x+3y=6

    6x-3y=-33

    That would make the new equation 3x=-27

    Divide - 27 by 3 and you get X=-9
