Lola has a rectangle piece of cardboard. the lenght of the cardboard is 14 inches. the width of the cardboard is half of its length. lola cuts the cardboard into 9 rectangluar strips having the same width. the lenght of each strip is 14 inches. lola measures the width of each strip and rounds her answer to the nearest hunderdths as 1.29inches.

Was she accurate or inaccurate. use calculations to support your answer explain.

    Calculate the width

    14:2=7

    having given that the lenght is 14 in her slices too it means that she cuts it only in one direction so the width is

    7:9=0.77777 (seven in period)

    so she is pretty inacurate
