If F (x) = 5x^3 - 2 and g (x) = x+1, find (f-g) (x)

    (f-g) (x) is in fact f (x) - g (x):

    f (x) - g (x)

    = 5x³ - 2 - (x + 1)

    = 5x³ - 2 - x - 1

    = 5x³ - x - 3
