2 cars leaving Hyland at the same time, one traveling North and the other going South. The 1st car is driving 6 mph faster than the 2nd car. After 2.5 hours they are 345 miles apart. What is the speed of the 1st car?

    (a+a+6) * 2.5=345

    2a+6=138

    a=132/2

    a=66 mph

    a+6=66+6=72 mph

    Speed of the first car is 72 mph
