Suppose you write a sum of numbers as a product of their GCF and another sum. What is the GCF of the numbers in the other sum? Explain.

    The GFC is the greatest common factor that could have been distributed from the numbers times there remaining factors that are left:

    N + N = SUM

    SUM = GFC (N + N) = GFC (SUM)
